Every provider is reviewed before joining Tatmeen. The team verifies their valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties classification, identity, academic and professional certificates, CV, experience, and areas of subspecialty practice.

After acceptance, Tatmeen continues to monitor classification status, punctuality, service quality, and user ratings. Providers receive alerts before their classification expires, and their profile is hidden from booking if it expires until it is renewed. Users can also submit a complaint or report unprofessional conduct through Tatmeen support.

Yes. Every provider on Tatmeen has a valid professional classification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. This is required both for joining the platform and for keeping a profile visible.

Saudi citizens and residents of the Kingdom can use Tatmeen for mental, family, or social care, or to consult a family physician when mental and physical needs overlap. You need a valid mobile number, an iOS or Android device, and a suitable internet connection.

You can browse providers as a guest before registering, then create an account to complete a booking. Quick Match asks four questions to help narrow your options. Adults can use the service for themselves, while guardians can create accounts and arrange sessions for minors and supervise their care in a way that suits their age and circumstances.

Tatmeen serves adults and older adults, and also provides care for children and teenagers through an account managed and supervised by a guardian. Provider profiles list the age groups they work with, and you can use the age filter to find someone with suitable experience.

For a child or teenager, the guardian creates the account, arranges the appointment, and provides the necessary consent. Depending on the minor’s age and the therapeutic goal, the provider may meet with the guardian and child together or separately, while explaining privacy and safety boundaries from the outset.

Tatmeen is intended for Saudi citizens and residents within the Kingdom, where the platform and its providers operate under Saudi licenses and regulations. You may be able to open the app while traveling, but session availability and the acceptance of a prescription or report outside Saudi Arabia depend on the rules of the country you are in and the organization that will use the document.

If you will be outside Saudi Arabia at the time of your appointment, tell the provider where you are, especially if you need a prescription or report or may require a local emergency referral. In immediate danger, use the emergency services in the country where you are located.

Tatmeen’s interface and support are available in Arabic and English. Assessments, reports, and notifications are also available in both languages depending on the type of content. The session language depends on those listed in the provider’s profile, so use the language filter and choose someone with whom you can describe your feelings and symptoms clearly.

If you need a report or prescription in a particular language, ask the provider before the document is issued. Changing the app’s interface language does not automatically change the language of your session or documents.

The main care journey takes place in the Tatmeen app on iOS and Android: creating an account, finding a provider, booking and paying, attending a session, and accessing reports, prescriptions, and the wallet.

The tatmeen.sa website introduces the services, displays educational content and selected provider profiles, provides app-download links and support, and accepts applications from practitioners. Use the app when you want to start a session or manage your health record.

Tatmeen offers mental health sessions with psychiatrists and psychologists, family and social consultations with social workers, and initial consultations with family physicians. You can schedule an appointment or request an urgent session and communicate by text, audio, or video.

Tatmeen has four main types of care provider:

Remote care can be a suitable alternative for many mental health and family consultations, including symptom assessment, psychotherapy, and medication follow-up when the condition and regulations allow it. Evidence supports the effectiveness of remote psychotherapy for several common concerns, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

It does not replace an in-person examination, emergency care, or intensive treatment. Begin with an initial assessment, and the provider will tell you whether your condition is suitable for continued remote care or requires a clinic, hospital, or specialist center.

Do not wait for a remote session when there is an immediate threat to life, an active attempt to self-harm, an acute psychotic episode, or severe medical symptoms. Some situations also require in-person care, including medically supervised detoxification, hospital admission or daily monitoring, a neurological or physical examination, or imaging and procedures that cannot be performed remotely.

Some controlled medications and legal or judicial procedures may also require an in-person visit. In these cases, the provider will direct you to the appropriate clinic, hospital, or organization.

If the danger is immediate or you are afraid you may harm yourself or someone else, contact emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department now. Do not wait for an appointment or for a session request to be accepted in the app; Tatmeen is not a substitute for emergency services.

Yes. A licensed doctor or specialist can diagnose a mental health condition within their scope after a sufficient clinical assessment, and the diagnosis is documented in the health record. They may use scales such as PHQ-9, GAD-7, or DASS-21, or issue a psychological assessment, mental status examination, progress report, or treatment plan.

The clinical diagnosis is recognized within the care delivered by the practitioner, but some government or judicial bodies may require a particular form, an in-person assessment, or a document issued by a specific facility. If you need the diagnosis for an official purpose, confirm the organization’s requirements before booking.

Yes. Tatmeen offers more than 15 report templates, completed by the licensed provider according to the case. These include medical reports, psychological assessments for adults or children and teenagers, mental status examinations, progress reports, treatment plans, social reports, and follow-up and referral reports.

The report is issued as a readable PDF, linked to your appointment and health record, and available to download and share. Acceptance requirements vary among employers, schools, insurers, government bodies, and courts, so ask the receiving organization which form it requires before requesting the report.

Yes. A psychiatrist can prescribe psychiatric medication, and a family physician can prescribe general medication within their scope after assessing the condition and confirming that the treatment is appropriate. Psychologists and social workers do not prescribe medication, but they can refer you to a doctor when needed.

Tatmeen support is available around the clock through live chat in the iOS or Android app and on tatmeen.sa. The team can help with login, notifications, payments, joining a session, account and invoice management, cancellation and rescheduling, and the review of compensation requests and complaints.

The employee’s identity and appointment content remain private between the employee and provider; the employer cannot view consultation content.
