Why are we building this library?
Mental health shapes people’s lives and decisions. Arabic readers deserve information that is accurate, clearly sourced and both understandable and responsible.
That is why we are building a specialist Arabic mental-health library: one place where complex subjects are explained clearly and trusted knowledge connects with professional care.
Our ambition is to raise the standard of Arabic mental-health content and build a reference readers can return to whenever they need a clearer understanding.

What does the “Tatmeen editorial standard” mean?
Four principles guide how we prepare and update articles:

Clearly identified review
When a licensed care provider is assigned a health review, their name appears on the article. “Tatmeen Team” denotes organizational editorial accountability; it does not automatically mean a named clinical review.

Honest limits of evidence
When science has not settled a question, we say so. We do not present a possibility as an established fact.

Updates and corrections
We update articles when important evidence changes and explain corrections that alter material information or a health conclusion.

Researcher
Defines the article’s question and scope, gathers the most relevant evidence, and assesses its strength, limitations and permissible conclusions.
Writer
Turns the research into a clear, coherent article, explains information in context and preserves the conditions and limits that shape its meaning.
Health reviewer
When a health review is assigned, a licensed care provider reviews the final draft within their area of practice and requests changes to unsupported or potentially misleading claims.
Editor
Makes the final publication decision after checking that the article is coherent and meets Tatmeen’s standards. This decision remains independent of booking and promotion, and the editor may return or stop an article at any stage.
