Tatmeen reports include:

Medical and psychological reports

• A general medical report containing the diagnosis and recommendations.
• A psychological assessment for adults or for children and adolescents.
• A mental status examination report.
• A treatment progress report and session summary.
• A treatment plan report and summary.
• A background report prepared before a medical examination.

Social and family reports

• An initial or comprehensive social report.
• A family or marital meeting report.
• An emotional or psychological report for court proceedings.

Reports can also be prepared for employers or insurance providers, as well as for follow-up, reassessment, or referral. Doctors write medical reports, psychologists write assessment and therapy reports, and social workers write social and family reports, each within their professional scope.

Book with the appropriate care provider and, before the session, explain the type of report, who it is for, its purpose, and the submission deadline. If the receiving organization requires a specific format, send its form or letter through the appointment chat.

The care provider gathers the necessary information during the session, then prepares the report and uploads it to your account. You can find it under Completed Appointments ← Appointment Card ← Reports or in the account's Reports section.

The report may be included in the service fee or have a separate charge, depending on its type and whether it requires additional sessions or assessments. Any amount due is shown in the payment flow before you pay.

The timeframe depends on the type of report and the complexity of the case:

• A standard medical, follow-up, or employer report may be issued immediately after the session or within a few hours.
• A treatment progress report, initial social report, or case background report usually takes one to three days.
• A comprehensive psychological or social assessment or a customized court report may take several days and require additional sessions or assessments.

You will receive a notification when the report is ready. If you have a deadline from an employer, school, or court, mention it before the session so the care provider can tell you the appropriate timeframe.

Yes. Tatmeen reports are official professional documents issued by care providers classified by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties through a platform licensed by the Saudi Ministry of Health.

The report includes the beneficiary's name or chosen alias, the session date, the care provider's details, specialty, and professional classification number, the clinical content, and the issue date. Report templates support a digital stamp, serial number, and electronic signature, with a downloadable PDF that you can share.

Being an official report does not mean it is automatically accepted for every purpose. The receiving organization may require a particular format, specialty, or in-person assessment.

Employers, schools, universities, insurance providers, and government bodies accept Tatmeen reports for purposes such as follow-up, absence, accommodations, or claims, but the final decision and acceptance requirements belong to the receiving organization.

Courts or some government bodies may require a report from a specific hospital, an in-person assessment, a particular stamp, signature, or specialty. Before requesting the report, ask the organization which report it accepts, who is authorized to issue it, whether it accepts a remote assessment, and its requirements for language, signature, stamp, and how recently the report must have been issued. Share these requirements with your care provider before the document is prepared.

Tatmeen reports are available in Arabic or English. Request the language before the session based on the receiving organization's requirements. Scientific names for medicines and diagnoses may remain in English within an Arabic report.

If you need a third language or a certified translation, use an accredited translator outside Tatmeen and confirm that the organization will accept the translation. If you receive the report in Arabic or English but requested the other language, contact your care provider for the appropriate version.

Ask the care provider who issued the report to make the change. They can correct a name, date, or number; add documented information that was omitted; issue a version in the other language; or update the report after a new assessment.

A diagnosis or clinical opinion will not be changed simply to achieve a preferred administrative outcome, and symptoms that were not assessed will not be added. Explain the requested change through the follow-up chat. You may use the free follow-up associated with the session, or book a short session starting from SAR 75 for 30 minutes if the change requires a new assessment.

The revised version will carry its new date. If a change you believe to be a legitimate correction is declined, ask for the reason or seek a second opinion, and contact support if there is a procedural problem.

Yes. A care provider can prepare a report summarizing previous sessions they conducted with you and may ask for a brief follow-up to review your current condition before issuing it.

If the previous provider is unavailable, a new provider can review the history you allow them to access, perform a new assessment, and issue their own independent professional report. A report cannot be issued without a clinical assessment.

You can download the older version from your account, but some organizations require a recent report—for example, one issued within the past six months. Ask the organization first, then request an updated report if needed.
